    Judy McDonald

    Judy McDonald

Judy is an East Tennessee native who has lived in the Atlanta/Athens area since graduating from Tennessee Technological University with a BS degree in business. While enjoying an extensive sales career with American Express, Judy had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world and to many cities within the United States. As the winner of many top sales awards at American Express, she was the lucky recipient of some very special trips. These special trips have given Judy some fantastic memories, which include a safari in Africa, “down under” in Australia, camel rides in Morocco, flamenco dancing in Spain, and gondola rides in Italy. When asked about her favorite travel adventure, Italy is always declared the winner. Having “sales” in her blood, it was a smooth transition for Judy to shift into real estate 14 years ago. After graduating from the Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate and obtaining a Georgia real estate license, she immediately accepted an offer to become one of two “flagship,” onsite REALTORS® at The Georgia Club. The Georgia Club is a gated, golf course community in the Greater Athens area, with homes ranging in price from $350,000 to $2MM+. During her 11-year tenure at The Georgia Club, Judy consistently produced multi-million dollar sales results each year In 2012, Judy was invited to join the Keller Williams Realty Greater Athens family of REALTORS® and was the recipient of a Shooting Star Award for high-level sales attainment as a transitioning REALTOR® into another brokerage firm. She also earned Circle of Distinction awards in 2013 and 2014 for consecutive multi-million dollar sales attainment. In 2015, Judy returned to The Georgia Club as Resale Specialist for the newly created Resale Department and was instrumental in the sale of 17 resale properties during the first nine months. Judy takes great pride in the accolades she receives from clients, attesting to the exceptional level of ethical and professional services she provides. She understands the importance of listening to her clients, understanding their needs and helping them attain their goals. She strongly believes that building and winning trust is a critical part of the professional relationship with her clients that will result in a rapport that will last for years beyond the sale. As a dog lover, Judy makes frequent financial contributions to various animal shelters in the area and has often adopted rescue Dachshunds. Presently, the three lucky Doxies are Chloe and Annie, both black females, and Snapdragon, a red male. She has a son, a daughter, and two grandchildren who all live nearby.

    Kimberley Kraeling

Kimberley Kraeling was born in New Jersey, but has called Athens her home since an early age, and considers herself a true Athenian. She attended schools in Clarke County and went on to graduate from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science. Soon after she married her college sweetheart they relocated to Charleston, SC and then to Marietta,GA, as Michael pursued his degree at Southern Polytechnic State University. There he launched his career. After raising her daughters, Kimberley looked for a profession that would allow her the flexibility she wanted for her family, but that would utilize the relationships she had developed over the years volunteering and serving her community. Real estate became the clear choice. Graduating from the Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate in 2003, Kimberley started working with a small brokerage firm managing their portfolio of properties. In her eleven years there, Kimberley went on to obtain her Associate Brokers License, gained a wealth of property management knowledge, and valuable experience representing both buyers and sellers in the Cobb County. In 2014 opportunities arose for Michael in Athens and Kimberley and her family found themselves back 'home'. Not sure what direction to take her career, and wanting to learn about the Athens area market before she jumped back in, Kimberley was weighing her options when she saw an ad for a local real estate company needing a Transaction Coordinator. Little did she know it was the opportunity of a lifetime to work at The Georgia Club. She spent two years learning the business from the inside out at the sales office and has now made the move to New Homes Broker Associate. Kimberley’s love of the community and attention to detail, combined with her genuine personality and natural optimism make her a welcome addition to The Georgia Club Real Estate Co. sales team.

    Jack Barber

    Jack Barber

Jack Barber was born in St. Marys, Georgia where he grew up doing what most people do when they live in a tourist destination on the coast-fishing and enjoying the beach. An active youth, Jack played baseball and football throughout high school, but as his interests matured, he knew that golf was his passion. Upon graduation he enrolled at Georgia Southern with his intentions set on getting a Civil Engineering degree so that he could one day design and build golf courses. His skill as a golfer led him to transfer to Georgia Military College where he would play on their golf team while he continued his studies. There Jack successfully juggled his studies and his sport, maintaining a 3.5 GPA and becoming a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. But it was Athens that was really calling him, and Jack ultimately transferred to the University of Georgia where he will graduate in May with a degree in AgriBusiness. While attending university Jack took a job at The Georgia Club, thinking he would help pay for his schooling and get to play some golf at the same time. He had no way of knowing that The Georgia Club would lead him right to the first step in his career! Jack became acquainted with the community and members, and was easily a favorite of those he came across. In no time, he caught the attention of Tom Valdes, Broker in Charge of The Georgia Club Real Estate Co. The two had many discussions about real estate, investing, building and construction, and with graduation quickly approaching, it was time for Jack to make some decisions. With his family background in both civil engineering and real estate, his interests in architecture and design, and with an offer to join the real estate team at The Georgia Club, Jack decided to pursue his real estate license. Jack was licensed in April of 2017, but began working at the real estate sales office in December 2016 in administration. With his training, education and a love for the community he has been working in since 2014, Jack Barber is ready to show you why The Georgia Club is the Best Place to Live in America!
