Boo-le-Bark on Boulevard
Save the date for October 14th at 4PM— it’s happening rain or shine! This year the organizers have added a costume contest. Learn more and register here.
The Athens Half-Marathon and 5k are back for the 9th annual local race weekend. The course is action packed and goes through gorgeous historic districts and The University of Georgia campus. The AthHalf is more than just a race, it’s one of the fundraising events (along with AthFest) for AthFest Educates:
“AthHalf is produced annually by the nonprofit organization, AthFest Educates, supporting its mission of funding high-quality music and arts programming for youth. When you run the AthHalf, you are directly impacting a child’s access to music and the arts.”
And if you can’t run, spectate! There’s nothing better than having your neighbors and friends cheer you on. Register here.
A yearly Halloween celebration complete with our very own Max (of Where The Wild Things Are) to get the festivities started. With people coming from far and wide, The Wild Rumpus is a great event to participate in, or spectate as a family! With the main event being a costume-clad parade, the whole weekend is jam-packed with events. Stay tuned here for the event schedule.
With autumn on the horizon, there are so many more local events to get involved with. Luckily, The Georgia Club is situated nicely among a grouping of charmingly southern small towns, making it the ideal location. We hope to see you out and about soon!
