Dawg Nation Alums Have Found Their Home at The Georgia ClubPosted on December 6, 2016
The Georgia Club is a community filled with Georgia Alumni and it is one of several subdivisions popping up across the country that give college pals an opportunity to move in next door to one another.
Living near your alma mater can provide you with many benefits including a major networking opportunity. Your alumni association is an immense network of professional contacts and can help you in many ways. You can also attend events and join professional groups to build relationships. Another major benefit is instilling or continuing a family tradition. Your children can grow up in an atmosphere where the university and all that it represents are a part of their daily lives. The homecoming parade, the traditions, and the school spirit create lasting memories.
The Georgia Club offers some appealing features that all Dawg residents will appreciate. A concierge will advise residents about campus events and shuttles to the games will be provided. The clubhouse, which is filled with sculptures of the Georgia Bulldogs’ mascot and framed pictures of the stadium and campus, can be used to host a game watching parties and other fun events for the residents. There is even one building, that will be molded after the university’s Phi Kappa Hall. Even though not every resident is decked out in red and black and no one is asking to see a diploma, a majority of the residents are big financial donors and die-hard alumni.
