The Georgia Club's Tennis Court Complex is open and ready for play. Six clay tennis courts are featured, all with lights for night play and a technologically advanced underground irrigation systems for easy refreshing between matches. And, since the courts are a clay surface, that means they are easier on the joints and cooler in the summer.
From private lessons to group clinics and mixers, the tennis program at The Georgia Club is certain to get your game in shape while having fun. The Georgia Club has a women's USTA team that competes in the Athens and surrounding area, and weekly tennis clinics are conducted to hone those tennis skills. Gift Certificates for Private Tennis Lessons Available
Are you looking for that perfect Christmas gift, birthday gift, or "just because" gift? Look no further than The Georgia Club Fitness Center! We have gift certificates available for five 1-hour private tennis lessons for $200 ($40 in savings). First Round Robin of the Year Scheduled for January 13
Save the date of Wednesday, January 13 for the first tennis Round Robin of the year from 6:30 to 8 p.m. If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please e-mail Stacy Middlebrooks. Watch for more details to come. See photos below from our September 2009 Round Robin Tournament.
Men's and Women's Tennis Groups
- We will have Men's Tennis Night every Thursday night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. through December.
- All ladies are welcome to enjoy some midday exercise for Monday Afternoon Ladies Tennis every Monday at 12:30 p.m. Or, enjoy the coolness of the morning and join us for Saturday Morning Ladies Tennis every Saturday at 9 a.m.

- Monday Night Men's Tennis Clinic
We will not have Monday Night Men's Tennis Clinic for the rest of the year. Please stay posted for the startup dates beginning in early 2010.
- Friday Morning Tennis Clinics
We will have an adult tennis clinic on Friday 
mornings starting on January 8 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $15 for each session.
